Risk Factors
There is no single cause of cancer , but there are several factors that increase the incidence of breast cancer.
These factors include the following :

    
Obesity: An increase in the rate of obesity in the communities accompanied by an increase in the incidence of cancer.
    
Smoking : a cause of breast cancer , lung and bladder.
    
Alcoholic beverages.
    

    
Family history : increasing the incidence of breast cancer if there is breast cancer in the mother , sister or daughter or father and this percentage will increase if the injury occurred to the family at an early age or in both breasts , or even if there was no injury other cancers such as ovarian cancer .
    

    
Exposure to radiation therapy in the chest area : a treatment for some cases of other tumors such as lymphoma tumors , especially before the age of thirty .
    
Pregnancy, childbirth and the menstrual cycle : delayed childbearing or childlessness and the emergence of the menstrual cycle before the age of twelve years and delayed menopause beyond 55 years , all increase the incidence of breast cancer.
    
Hormones: Hormone replacement therapy and taking hormone DES during pregnancy are all factors that may increase the incidence of breast cancer.
    
Ethnicity: breast cancer occurs in women with whites more than blacks and Asians and others.
Many of these factors lady can be avoided to reduce the likelihood of developing breast cancer , such as being overweight , smoking and the use of hormones .
