Kayla Yvette Womack Is A Proponent Of Susan G. Komen For The Cure

Kayla Yvette Womack, a senior accountant by profession, always wanted to do something to eradicate breast cancer and make women aware about the disease and this inspired her to join Susan G. Komen For The Cure which is a global breast cancer movement. This movement was started by Nancy G. Brinker in 1982. Nancy lost her sister to breast cancer and promised her sister that she will do something substantial to end breast cancer. Since its creation, the community has made the biggest impact in the fight against breast cancer. Due to their many fundraising events such as Komen Race For The Cure, they have invested more than $2 billion to end breast cancer in the US and all around the world. They are supporting research, community health outreach, advocacy, and programs in more than 50 nations.
Kayla Yvette Womack is so passionate about the cause that she has created her own group called The Boobie Bunch. She along with her other team members has raised more than $50,000 for the cause. She regularly participates in Susan G. Komen 3 Day, a 60 mile walk, along with her group. The participants walk 60 miles over the course of three days and raise funds as well as awareness about breast cancer. Seventy five percent of the funds raised by the Komen 3-Day goes into funding national research and public health outreach programs. The rest of the 25 percent helps in funding local community and affiliate support and outreach programs. Kayla is participating in this walk for the fifth time.

Her work has always been appreciated by her employers and she has made remarkable contributions to the organizations in which she has served throughout her career. It is astonishing that she takes out time for the social causes and the most successful charity event, Susan G. Komen For The Cure.  

Kayla Yvette Womack is presently working as a senior accountant in Interstate National Dealer Services, Atlanta, GA. She handles a variety of jobs and assignments daily. Being at the senior post, she is responsible for completing all Inter-company transactions for seven entities within the organization; completing all month-end procedures in a timely manner; streamlining new processes; implementing a tax tracker system; helping in revamping the current budget system and accrual methods; researching and assisting in resolving tax issues; completing all Ad hoc requests for management, etc. In past, she worked as a staff accountant with Aaron Rents, Inc., based in Kennesaw, GA; and Comcast in Atlanta, Georgia. She also served at Air Serv Corporation, Atlanta, Georgia as an Accounting Manager.
